Tulsa World Bloggers Misunderstand iPhone App

with one comment

We appreciate your usage of our iPhone App. It’s become one of the most popular ways people read our content.
We have recently submitted a new version of this app that utilizes Apple’s just-released periodical subscription platform. Once approved, a paid subscription will be required to access our award winning content.
This platform will allow Tulsa World print subscribers unlimited access to our content via any Apple device at no additional charge.

I work for a company that hates trees, too, but this is reaaaaally really dumb.  I bookmarked the pages I needed and discarded the app long long time ago. With that wicked wicked wicked Rupert Murdoch leading the way, the New York Times following suit, the established blogger complex is doing whatever it can to keep the doors open and to drive people to them great big inky ads.

Following the dismissal of fifteen bloggers from their newsroom last month it looks like old Bobby and Crew are flailing about for ideas.

  1. He shouldn’t have paid bloggers! That was the problem! People are not dumb. They saw right through the smoke and mirrors. All the personal attacks and libel these paid bloggers kicked out in 2009, came back at them in a brown sandwich.
